Well, another presidential election day is here and after months on end with rhetoric and campaigns it all comes down to the American people who will be casting their voted.
Me, personally, do not have rights to vote as I’m not an American citizen, so I cannot be a play in this, except of course that I could try to influence everybody I know along the way including here on this site. However, this site is not really about my personal political conviction, but as described in our about tab about the quirky sides, good and bad about the USA.
But let’s just say that I’m glad to be living in a country that gives people the power to vote – I mean, think about it. It’s 2012 and there are still places where you as a citizen have no ability to cast your vote for who is leading your country.
However, we may find that once again there are going to be a huge number of people who do have voting power that are not going to cast their vote one way or the other. Which makes you think: Why not?
Are these non-voting discouraged? Do they feel that it doesn’t matter much who rains the country?
Well, whatever their reasons for not voting – I wish America well and godspeed with the election.
